Dragon Zone 500M Regatta
The Dragon Zone 500m Regatta is a seeding regatta for the Rio Tinto Alcan Dragon Boat Festival. And not to mention a lot of fun. Join us for this exciting weekend regatta that prepares you for the Rio Tinto Alcan Dragon Boat Festival. Teams race 3 times in their session, on one of the days. * Teams that are registered in The Rio Tinto Alcan Dragon Boat Festival have priority registration for this event.

Includes: Food, beer (for ages 19+), access to door prizes, silent auction and 50/50 tickets. Tickets can be purchased from any member of Starbucks Waverunners or email waverunnersdragonboat@gmail.com to inquire about purchasing tickets. Partial proceeds go to Paddling for Change, a charity that helps local junior dragon boat teams get on the water.

The Board of Directors for the Canadian International Dragon Boat Festival Society wish to extend an invitation to the 3rd Annual Canadian International Dragon Boat Festival Society Legacy Gala Ticket price includes fabulous entertainment, food, wine from Clos du Soleil and other beverages from Granville Island Brewery. This unique event is one of the oldest mixed regattas in the world. It runs on Canada Day (July 1st) annually and races alternate between canoe/kayak and rowing races since 1884, with dragon boat races added in 2003.
