THANK YOU TO THE PARTICIPANTS IN THE TENNESSEE CLEAN WATER NETWORK’S DRAGON BOAT RACE FESTIVAL 2016!
It was a great success! You collectively raised $6,770 as teams and individuals and with sponsors and registrations, we grossed over $32,000! These funds will help protect Tennessee’s 60,000 miles of lakes and streams and help to ensure Tennessean’s have clean water to drink and enjoy.
Dragon Boat Racing in Down Town Knoxville!….It’s the 8th fastest growing sport in the world and the most fun, unique cultural event featuring adrenaline-pumping action,
dragon boat racing grows in popularity every year. Teams of 20 paddlers, a drummer and steerer race in authentic Hong Kong-style, 46-foot-long dragon boats.
The course is 250m on the Tennessee River; all ages, skill levels, and physiques can participate. It is the ultimate team building sport, requiring synchronicity and finesse, more than power to win. Bring your Best!
