Rigging the Outrigger CANOE

Learning to rig an outrigger is a crucial skill for all outrigger paddlers. Rigging and preparing a boat for paddling requires the help of the whole crew. Often rigging is completed in high-pressure situations, when the team has travelled to compete in outrigger regattas. It is important that you pay particular attention to all the fine details of rigging to ensure that the job is done properly and that the boat is rigged securely for its ocean adventures.
The best way to learn is on the job!
Join us at noon (12 PM precisely), Saturday, October 29th with long-time outrigger paddler Graeme Galves for a two-hour session on rigging outriggers.
