Dragon Boats Brazil

Dragon Boats Brazil became the governing body of the sport of dragon boating in Brazil in the year 2009.

Our members use an expression “We’re all in this together”. This same expression is commonly used in staff meetings of all corporate segments and materializes in our Dragon Boat practices.

The motivation is for the pleasure in making the water sport safe and the energy of the front group dynamics and coordination exercises, in addition to direct contact with nature.

When in a dragon boat, the team is led by a drummer in front of 10 pairs of paddlers. A modern dragon boat is usually 10 to 12 meters (about 40 feet) long. To control the dragon boat there is an experienced steer/helm/sweep at the back to monitor and guide the boat.
