Broadwater 2016 Corporate & Community Regatta

Up to the challenge? Come and enjoy the thrill of racing in a Dragon Boat with your fellow associates, family and friends. No previous experience is necessary – one optional training session is provided for all teams.
Led by the rhythmic beat of a drum, teams of 10 or 20 synchronized paddlers, one drummer and one steersperson sprint 200 meters in dragon boats rigged with decorative Chinese dragon heads and tails.
The races are exciting and a spectacular adrenaline charged sprint. Dragon boating is by nature is a social sport requiring large numbers of people to work together. It develops team work, strength and endurance as well as friendships.

ADULTS: 18 +: $20 per paddler
JUNIORS: Under 18: $10 per paddler
*includes one optional training session prior to the event (Fee includes sports insurance cover).
